This beautifully illustrated U.S. Postal Service stamp featuring Sacagawea was a part of the Legends of the West series introduced in October 1994. The serie...s honored renowned Americans of the west, including Buffalo Bill, Jim Bridger, Chief Joseph, Annie Oakley, Geronimo, Wild Bill Hickok, Kit Carson, and many others. Sold in sheets of 20 stamps each stamp featured a different person. They were all designed by Mark Hess of Katonah, New York, and were produced using the photogravure printing process, which provide the intense colors. Photo: United States Postal Service. All Rights Reserved. Alt Text: A colorful U.S. postage stamp with a painted portrait of Sacagawea. She is wearing an off-white animal skin garment, with colorful blue, yellow, red, and white beads. She is holding a wooden staff and has a cradleboard on her back.

We are looking to understand the well-being of Veterans and their spouses in relation to lifestyle changes and concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will also examine changes in, and perceptions of, health care treatments during the pandemic.
Historians know that turkey and corn were part of the first Thanksgiving, when Wampanoag peoples shared a harvest meal with the pilgrims of Plymouth plantation in Massachusetts. And traditional Native American farming practices tell us that squash and beans likely were part of that 1621 dinner too.
