Fall is our busiest season for Owl releases. Here is a great video of one of our Eastern Screech Owls being released after rehab. Enjoy :)
Our spring orphans have all gone to college (Release Training Academy) and are on the path to independence. They will be released this Fall.
Happy International Owl Awareness Day!!! Today is the day that we celebrate the hundreds of owl species across our planet and bring awareness to some of the issues they face such as climate change, population decline, habitat loss and human caused injuries like car and window strikes as well as pesticide use. We at The Owl Foundation know these issues all too well. Please consider helping us by liking our page, sharing our stories and making a donation that will go to the care of our injured Owls.
Remember our little male Great Horned Owl who had a little mishap with a manure pit. Here is a video of his release from last week.
