I’ve been saving this little washstand for the arrival of our new Mint Decoupage Paper designs. I can’t get enough of this one, Waterplay, and I knew it would be perfect for this piece. It’s going to be gorgeous with our Annie Sloan Oxford Navy. The picture is showing a little brighter but in person it is truly a dark navy!

I absolutely love it when Im able to see the pieces we update in their forever homes! Our client had a specific use for this china cabinet and it was a perfect fit for his naval models. We used Annie Sloan Paint in Oxford Navy with some Napoleonic Blue to brighten it a bit and Pure White on the inside. It is the perfect backdrop for these amazing ships! Hows this for an Ikea hack? Leanne took an old Ikea shoe cabinet painted it with a bottom of the tin mix of Annie Sloan Paints then decoupaged one of our amazing Mint papers onto the front even blending in a little Fusion paint to create the perfect transition from paper to paint! Lone Sepia Tree is the name of this paper and I love how it looks with these mixes of paint. Leanne even used some tin panels left over from her kitchen reno for the perfect finishing touch! Two big things happening today! Old White will be here later this afternoon! Hallelujah! After weeks of waiting Chris is on his way to pick up the order! The finished project! Didnt he do an amazing job on this piece? Austyn picked his own colour, Laurentien by Fusion, and painted two coats. I tried to talk him into a little distressing but he said I was ruining his table so no distressing. I wont try that again!!! Hes very proud of his work and so am I!

Austyn doesnt have too many Wednesdays left this summer so we thought wed give him a painting project with Fusion in Laurentien. Well keep you posted on how it turns out!

Another fun workshop yesterday with some ladies I love to have visit! See you in October! A lot of you have been asking about regular classes. Sunday Share! Margaret decided that her little cottage kitchen needed a makeover and she decided that our Annie Sloan Paint and General Finishes products were needed for the job! Some Old White Chalk Paint and some High Performance Topcoat surely did the trick! For around $500 Margaret transformed this space from drab and rundown to simply amazing! What do you all think? I love it and what a transformation!

This beauty just went out the door to its new home. Our client picked one of our pieces for a custom treatment and I love how it turned out! Old Ochre by Annie Sloan with both Winters Song furniture transfers from Iron Orchid Designs. All finished up with Clear Wax for a perfect transformation! Oh and I love the little bit of Canadian history on the back! I hope you love it as much as we do Lorraine!
