The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes World Mental Health day every year on October 10, with this year's theme recognizing the drastic change that has come to our daily lives because of the COVID-19 pandemic. At The ParkSide Centre, we realize that so many of you are missing social outings. We miss you too! In an effort to bring all of us together, we hope to include you in our ParkSide Centre Without Walls Program to keep us all connected. ... The ParkSide Centre Without Walls (PCWW) program is free (with the exception of a few Instructor-led programs) and you can participate by Registering thru Zoom with a device such as a Tablet, Cell Phone, Computer or Laptop or simply by Telephone-Only. PCWW provides the opportunity for participants to join in on health and wellness seminars, educational lectures, brain-stimulating activities, listen to live musical entertainment, join in on general conversations, and make new and meaningful friendships all from the comforts of home! It works just the same as attending a class or a lecture at the centre, but instead it is facilitated over the telephone or virtually. You can message Natalie thru our Facebook page to learn more about the program or give us a call 705-673-6227 Ext 231 A full October Calendar of Activities is also posted on our website. https://theparksidecentre.ca//parkside-centre-without-wal/ Let's Stay Connected and Healthy together!
