On Monday, January 11th we begin our 21 Days of Prayer! Join us via Zoom on Tuesday's and Thursday's until January 31st. 21 Days of Prayer is a time where we intentionally seek God every day in prayer while believing for Him to move in powerful ways. Use these 3 weeks to build your spirit, discipline your soul and subdue your flesh. Prayer and fasting together, are a powerful way to align our lives to the heart of God, connecting our lives to Him while disconnecting our lives from the world. Let’s see what our lives can as we start the year with humility and surrender. Use this booklet as well as scripture to build your faith, hear from God and become more like Jesus. We have both Pray First (topics) and our 21 Days of Prayer booklet available on our website, under the resource tab.

We’re turning 5! We are so grateful to the Lord for the community of faith that we together have become, The Pearl Church. Since the day the church was planted, our Lord has lead us and taught us what it is to be a family. ... Though this last year has been filled with many changes, some ups and some downs, we've been blessed enough to do life with you. We pray that as we continue to figure out what this year looks like, that we would come together and draw near to God. Covid has restricted our ability to have a full on celebration but we encourage you to worship with us this Sunday online or in-person. When we focus our lives on Gods purposes and not our plans in the crisis, we become available for God to not only speak to us but to allow him to invite us in to what He's doing. If you missed the incredible message yesterday, it’s not too late!

God invites you to be a part of the Christmas story. Whether you feel like you have something to give or not, you have a role to play. Whether you’re an innkeeper, a shepherd, or a king, God's love is inclusive, regardless of the walk of life you come from. The gift given is to be a gift received.... Don’t disqualify yourself from what God is leading you to. His gift is for EVERYONE. He's inviting you to be a part of His story. Open your heart and you will find him there.

Christmas in Glenora looks a little different this year. Though we are not meeting for our usual Carolling night, instead we have decided to pair up with The Colombian to GIVE BACK! We are asking The Pearl Church and Glenora Community to join together in donating to the Edmonton Food Bank. To donate, you can drop off non-perishables at The Colombian from December 6th to 12th, or drive-by on the 13th to get a free coffee to go!

Mark 11:25 Are you shaking your fist, holding on to hurts, offences or anger? Jesus calls us to forgive, literally to ‘drop it’ or 'let it go'. And when we let it go or drop it, opening our hands, God is able to forgive us. ... Are you free from anger or controversy today? Are you shaking your fist in person or on line? When life gets away from us ,when stress and anxiety rises, we get to a place where we become bitter and we hold onto things. But, when you lift your hands up unto the Lord in prayer, you can be free from all the things that you hold on to. Pastor Jeff encourages us to take these next 21 days to allow god to build this act of prayer in our life, and let freedom reign.
