The Pentecostal Country Church 15.11.2020

I spent an incredible weekend with my Youth For Christ Lion’s Head Project Serve Level 1 team, Maddie Perrault, Jonah & Caleb. A big thank you to Brad Perrault for overseeing the guys for the weekend. We joined the YFC Novar Satellite youth & served the homeless in Toronto with compassion, love & lots of smiles. Bellies were filled, donations were sorted, piano was played & Christmas trees were set up at The Salvation Army Florence Booth Women’s Shelter, Good Shepherd Mission & Mustard Seed. I am so proud of this team.

Caleb, Jonah & Maddie were amazing during their Youth for Christ Project Serve Level 1 training & celebration. Maddie's the Youth Leader for this group. Their task was to make cookies without a recipe. Brad was his grandson's partner & be assured, Caleb taught him a thing or two about baking November 3rd we traveled to Alliston for "Celebration". We joined with 13 youth from several YFC Satellites who are also training for Level 1. These sessions develop their leadership, p...roblem solving & team work skills. Lots of laughs too! November 23-24th we will again be connecting with the youth training in Level 1 and serve the homeless in Toronto. While there, we'll be helping out at the Good Shepherd Mission (serve meals), The Salvation Army Florence Booth Women Shelter (clean, visit with clients) & Mustard Seed (meals and emergency accommodations). We will also take part in Project 417 - Sandwich Run. Project Serve is a great program for youth to work with those in difficult situations. Debbie YFC Project Serve Leader
