I've been really bad at taking pics recently, so I'm extra thankful for great clients who send me photos. Plus it's nice to see the room when its all put back together. Walls: Nightingale AF-670
So thrilled to be able to freshen up this condo before the new owner moved in. Empty units are a treat! Walls: Decorator's White CC-20, Regal Ultimatte finish
Vinyl seam & wall repair, a splash of paint, and voila! It is always a pleasure working with Aldo Udovicic Sales Team helping clients get ready for the real estate market.
2020 has been a rollercoaster and I feel very fortunate that my l'il biz has had one of it's busiest years yet (and it doesn't look like its going to be slowing down any time soon ). I'm all booked up leading in to the holiday season, with some much needed time set aside to rest and recharge. Thinking about making some changes to your space in the new year? Let's chat. And thank you all for your encouragement, referrals, sharing my posts, and telling your friends & family about The Pocket Painter. You're the best!
Bye bye dark colours! Hello house ready for the real estate market! Walls: Pale Oak
A lovely little sunroom gets a makeover courtesy of The Pocket Painter. Walls: Victorian Garden 1531
Bye bye Mermaid's tail! Hello White Dove OC-17.
Another happy customer after The Pocket Painter made an appearance to help get the house ready for sale.
Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving from The Pocket Painter!
When you finally get a moment to go through all the half empty paint cans you've amassed over time.... some transfered to quart cans to prevent deterioration, empty cans get recycled, and a trip to the local dump to ensure the remainder of my hazardous waste is properly disposed of. #sosatisfying #tidyuptime #painterlife
Hard to believe that this is the same bedroom! Walls: Pale Oak OC-20 Trim: White Dove OC-17
The last 2 months the real estate market has seen a LOT of activity (and kept me super busy). I am well versed in helping to get your home ready for sale, or customizing your new dream home to suit your style. Walls: Gray Owl Trim: Chantilly Lace
I had a great time painting this dark and moody bathroom in Leslieville recently. Ceiling & trim: Decorator's White CC-20 Walls: Overcoat CC-544
Vanquishing dark wood requires a lot of effort, but the results are certainly worth it. #stepbystep #staircases #riseup
Ooh! ooh! What a little Moonshine can do! Walls: Moonshine OC-56 Trim: Decorator's White CC-20
If your painter doesn't prep the room like this, you need a new painter.
Wall repair? Yes! I do that.
Apparently this summer's hot trend for The Pocket Painter is skylight repairs.
It's important to me to levelset expectations right from the start. Thank you for your continued interest and support of my l'il female owned and operated painting business. I'm currently taking bookings for work starting September 2020. Tell your Mom! Tell a friend!
Happy to say I am back in the swing of things (but still a bit rusty when it comes to taking decent before pictures ). Despite the large glass doors, this Upper Beaches living room gets limited natural light due to a north/south exposure, so we brightened it right up. Walls: Classic Gray Trim: Chantilly lace
#tbt February 2000. Bookshelf murals for a furniture store. Faux wood grain, and I hand painted every darn book on each shelf. These photos are pre-smart phone era . I wish we'd done a better job of capturing the amazing detail that went in to these panels.
These lovely clients contacted me because their contractor stopped returning their phonecalls, and left numerous unfinished repairs through out the house. How frustrating!! #pocketpaintertotherescue #nojobtoosmall #customerservicematters
Its been a great first week back at work. Lots of fresh air & sunshine, and a few life lessons. Like how I never ever want to have to paint a bellfrey on a garage ever again in my life! Working alone means my clients don't have to worry about inviting a crew of people in to their house, and I don't hop around from site to site which means less exposure/risk for all parties involved. I am very strict about following guidelines, wearing a mask and sanitizing touch points at the start and end of every day. Interior work preferred and now taking bookings for July. Spread the word!
Backyard mural. 1999. Inspired by whimsical wisteria, cedar bushes, and other flora throughout the property. Elody Mobley, Karen Thompson, and Meaghan Atherton.
