This drop is EVERYTHING! When I set out on this journey 13 months ago I never knew THIS is where we would end up. They are so brave, I had MANY clients say about the women who helped me with this project. Brave? For REAL? ... How are we living in a space where it is considered BRAVE to say you’ve had injectable procedures?!?! This is how I knew I needed to do more than make funny videos because we can’t continue down this path where women are fearful to share the truth regarding their procedures. Botox and filler are NORMAL. The problem is that talking about it ISN’T. And when we choose to pretend we are natural because we look natural we contribute to a cycle of unREAListic beauty because aging perfect naturally DOESN’T EXIST! AUDACITY is a trait that was built into my DNA. Yet somehow, two very long years ago my fire was extinguished. I felt trapped within an industry that preys on the vulnerabilities of women and trapped within a world that is anything but REAL. I dropped off of Instagram because I could no longer handle the manufactured reality that is filled with fabrication and manipulation. I stopped posting before and afters and avoided the dm’s of followers asking because I didn’t have the... COURAGE to share my truth. THIS is my truth: Every time I posted a before and after I knew that I was contributing to a vicious cycle of unrealistic beauty. Teaching young women that our current value in society is placed in our lip size and that beauty is everything. My page was also only a FRACTION of the truth. I never once shared any of the sad stories and this alone made me feel like a FAKE. The emails we get from 16 year olds, the overfilled faces who want more and more, the clients who thought they found an expert and paid top dollar for a botch job, the clients who have spent thousands yet preach to the world they are natural. Where does it stop? Where do ethics come in? Where do the lies end? I started KICKING OUT more patients than I actually treated simply because I could no longer bring myself to simply do what the client wanted. An ABNORMAL approach? Absolutely! And it’s in this approach where I found my AUDACITY one more time. To be bold. To be fearless. To stand up for what I believe in. And to share what’s REAL in a world filled with illusion. What’s REAL is that there is a SEVERE lack of consumer education in regards to navigating the injectable space both on a mental and physical level. There are also MAJOR misperceptions combined with a DEEP ROOTED stigma that stops women from sharing their positive experiences. #getREAL comes from a deep place of love to elevate an industry and elevate how we see ourselves on the outside and from within

The PROUDEST moment BY FAR of my career To write, direct, and produce this series was so special to me simply because it was inspired by each and every patient that has ever sat in my chair REAL results DO exist and my REAL clients are here to prove it. They are REAL people GETTING REAL about what they do and WHY they do it!
