Just a heads up for everyone, I personally won’t be at the @farmersmarketpg , however, @coljuicery has lovingly taken over the sale of PrepNut bars in my absence They are restocked with pretty well all the flavours for this weekend and next! Afterwards, I’ll only be taking orders directly and offering pickup with occasional delivery. Mount Robson is a first class world-renowned destination that’s only a 3-hour drive (going the speed limit) from Prince George. Here are a few tips for anyone ...looking to add this epic, zen-producing hike to their GoalSpank list. 1) Dogs are allowed! However, they must be on a leash at all times and are not permitted to camp on the mountain. 2) Bring a ton of snacks. We recommend loading up on healthy protein bars from The Prepnut. 3) Kinney Lake is a nice easy 5km’s from the main parking lot. Totally family friendly and you can even bike it if you’d like. 4) If you’re camping at Berg Lake or Emperor Falls, be sure to prepare yourself for the most beautiful scenery on earth. 5) The glacier-fed water is swim-able at Berg Lake, so pack your suite and prepare for the best ice bath of your life. If you have testicles, they will disappear for a while 6) Be sure to hook up the staff at the tourism centre with some tips. Super nice people. 7) Hit up The Bear’s Paw Bakery in Jasper after your hike. Best homemade granola ever and amazing coffee! 8)) Prepare to meet people from around this great nation of ours! 9) Driving from PG? There’s an amazing pit stop just east of the Ancient Forest; it has a kids playground, WiFi, clean washrooms and is right next to this beautiful little river. We’ve never seen anything like it when it comes to HWY rest areas! 10) Soak in the beautiful views and show this little piece of backyard bc paradise some love (pack out what your pack in).
