Happy Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! So get into the kitchen and whip up your own batch of cookies! This recipe for chocolate chip cookies will take you just 20 minutes to throw together. Your friends and your stomach will thank you! To make two dozen cookies, youll need: 1 cup of softened butter 1 packed cup of brown sugar... 1 cup of white sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract 1 teaspoon of baking soda teaspoon of salt 3 cups of all-purpose flour 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup of chopped walnuts (optional) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter with both sugars until the mixture is smooth. Beat in the first egg, followed by the second. Stir in the vanilla. In a small bowl, dissolve the baking soda in 2 teaspoons of hot water. Add it and the salt to your batter. Slowly stir the flour into your batter, cup by cup. Mix in the chocolate chips and walnuts, if you want them. Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of the batter onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for ten minutes, watching the cookies. Once the edges start to brown, pull them out and let them cool on a rack. See more

Happy National Peanut Butter Cookie Day 3 ingredient peanut butter cookie dough 1 c peanut butter 1 c sugar 1 egg... Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine the peanut butter, white sugar and egg. Mix until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 6 to 8 minutes. Do not overbake! These cookies are best when they are still soft and just barely brown on the bottoms.
