I’m very proud of our team on what was an absolutely crazy year so if you’re not in the mood to hear me brag, feel free to scroll past this. We won the 2020 Chairmans Club Award at Royal LePage this year landing us in the top 1% of RLP Realtors across Canada! This was unexpected but pretty damn cool. Our team finished with 92 sales which is a record for us. We feel very lucky that our past clients continue to refer us out to their friends and family. We can’t thank you enoug...h! Paul had an amazing year, he stepped away from his job after 11 years at Cactus as his Real Estate career has taken off, and had a beautiful baby girl named Sloan. With a growing family, he’s already planning some big changes for 2021. The pandemic didn’t slow him down with 4 times the sales that he did last year. His clients are great people and seem to love his dry sense of humour as much as we do. We are very proud of Paul and it has been fun cheering him on from the sideline. Matt Cain continues to grow as a Realtor every day and is at the top of his game. He is calm under pressure and has to be forced to take a day off. Matt and Katie just moved into their new townhouse in Murrayville and I can’t wait until these restrictions back off so we can have a proper housewarming and drink all of his wine. Jamie Ruscheinski had his third child, a beautiful baby boy named Jan. His house is a zoo and his dad jokes have gotten worse, but I’m always impressed with how much he can accomplish in one day. When I first started as a Realtor I was blown away by Jamie's negotiation skills. That was no different this year, but what stood out for me was his never give up on fighting for his clients. There are many deals that were on the border of falling apart, and Jamie still manages to bring them back from the dead. It completely makes up for all the shitty dad jokes. As we hit the ground running for 2021 we are excited to see the market full steam ahead. Cheers to the oldest man on our team who just turned 40! After a few days off with his fiance, he's back at it. Have you ever lost your keys, wallet, phone, and shoes in one day? That's how Jamie and I feel when Matt is away. He's an integral part of our team and things always run a little smoother when he's here. ... Matt is the brother we both always wanted. But, got stuck with each other. Our dad would probably say he's the son he always wanted as well. It's the one thing we all agree on. Matt is great. Welcome back Matt!
