What If? The Musings of a Highly Sensitive Person.. What if our World wasn’t actually over-populated & can accommodate 8 billion of us, as long as we learn to l...ive more ‘lightly’? What if we all consumed less, bought less, & threw away less.. What if we cared more about whether our neighbours have enough food to eat rather than trading up to the latest iphone? What if we embraced Diversity with open arms, & didn’t just pay lip-service to the concept as a marketing ploy? What if everyone was welcome, irrespective of race, gender, sexual orientation, temperament trait or ability? What if people were kinder to each other & stood up for their values? What if we took the time to heal our traumas so they didn’t spill out onto those around us? What if our children were allowed to play more & learn in ways that suited THEM rather than a curriculum? What if we all learnt to tune into our inner wisdom rather than relying on others to tell us what we should think? What if we recognised our bodies as the complex, intelligent systems they are & trusted them to heal themselves? What if the Highly Sensitive amongst us were encouraged to fully express their sensitive gifts & share their insights with the world? Would we be where we are now? See more

Especially when Tapping with kids, it's always important to emphasize that there aren't "bad" feelings or "good" feelings. Every emotion is valid and we must t...each kids how to express these in a healthy way. Dr. Shefali is one of a kind in the field of mindfulness psychology for families. She speaks extensively on conscious parenting around the world and is the author of the award-winning parenting book, The Conscious Parent. We're thrilled that Dr. Shefali recognizes and supports the important role Tapping has in helping our kids understand their emotions! See more
