How do you start your morning? For me, setting an intention for the day ahead gives me direction. Intentions help us create a focus of energy of how interact with others and the situations we experience throughout the day. ... The world wants our attention every day and from everywhere. Having a set intentions makes us navigate with less resistance and more guidance. . Start by pairing your intention setting with an action you're already doing. Do you sit down every morning to have a coffee or tea? Think or write the following: Today, I commit myself to be ...... . I commit myself to be patient. I commit myself to be the best parent I can be. I commit myself to be compassionate towards everyone that comes on my path (think about if everyone would do this on the road driving??! ) I commit myself to eating healthy. I commit myself to take care of myself. When I open my eyes in the morning, it is the first thing I do before getting out of bed. Then I journal for a few minutes with my coffee, I write it down at the top of the page You'll notice that when anything comes up throughout the day, your intention will unconsciously start to guide you. How about you? I want to hear how you start your morning in the comments! Maybe it will inspire others to adopt your habits stock imagery Clio & Fox

Can a personality quiz make you a better salesperson? My latest guest on the Quiet Powerhouse podcast is Jennifer R Maxwell Biz, whose closing rate soared to an astonishing 90% once she applied DISC research to her sales technique! The DISC model divides personality traits into four quadrants: dominance, influence, steadiness, and compliance. ... D and I personality types are more outgoing, and introverts tend to fall into the more reserved S and C types. Each type has their own challenges when it comes to setting and communicating the value of their offerings. For example, S-types tend to undervalue their services even while overdelivering, so it’s important to set healthy boundaries and stick to them. Not only can you learn the best techniques for selling as your DISC type, but you can also learn how to sell in ways that resonate with other DISC types. Listen to the latest episode of the Quiet Powerhouse podcast for a DISC breakdown and actionable tips for better connecting with your prospects! https://www.juliegreenham.com/podcast
