Effective immediately, here is the update regarding the continuation of Massage Therapy in Alberta.
For those working from home or doing online school - it is tough not to be sore or achy at the end of the day, especially in your neck, shoulders, and back. Here is a good infographic demonstrating a few simple stretches which you can do while in your chair (except for the lunge). Some suggestions:... Apart from the twister and the shoulder shrug, hold each stretch for at least 20 seconds If you can, try to take mini breaks every 30 or 60 minutes throughout the day and incorporate a couple of these stretches Walk around to help prevent blood pooling in your legs and feet, which can cause swelling and poor circulation - so let’s get things flowing again as they should! Go outside to get some natural Vitamin D from the sun - there is never a better replacement for the essential vitamin so grab your runners, bundle up, and aim for a 15-20 minute walk. Get moving! Keep hydrated! You need approximately 1 litre of water (or non-diuretic fluids) just for normal bodily functions. It will not only help your immune system function at its best, but hydrate the fascia which all muscle tissue is surrounded by. Drink up!
