This week's West Kelowna hot spot is Chopped Leaf! Located near Homesense and Bulk Barn, this restaurant is a great place to get clean, healthy food at an affordable place. I love eating here because they're quick, and I always feel good after. I recommend bowl #2!

Happy Friday! The long weekend is here - and there are a few noteworthy things happening in our area to check out! Kids Care Spray Park Westbank City of West Kelowna May 18 | 10 AM - 8 PM... Get a fun head start on the summer! The popular children’s water park will be open to the public starting May 18th through to September, with extended hours in July and August. The spray park is located in Westbank Centre Park, at the end of May Street off Hebert Road, accessed from Dobbin Road (Highway 97 Couplet). Peachland World of Wheels Show & Shine May 19 | 11 AM - 4 PM 22nd Annual - this is Peachland's largest one-day event held right downtown along Beach Ave on the Sunday of the May long weekend. Rain or shine there will be over 550 cars, truck, motorcycles and vintage boats as well as over 10,000 spectators. Hope to see you there! Rutland May Days May 17 | 3 PM - 10 PM May 18 | 11 AM - 10 PM May 19 | 11 AM - 3 PM This year marks the 60th Annual celebration of May Days. What things can’t you live without? For me it’s my family, music, riding bikes around the beautiful Okanagan Valley, and helping coach football. And I must sayI’m so thankful for each one of these things because of the love & support my family gives is motivational, the exercise keeps me young, and the chance to help aspiring football players reach their goals is awesome. -Tristan
