BC people's! (EVERYONE ELSE: these programs are different by each province! If you would like my CONFIDENTIAL assistance it is FREE, and I would be more than happy to help from 9-12 and 1-430pm daily!) The rental assistance program has been updated, and you can now apply for a rental subsidy! ... If you are receiving EI, or you are receiving the CERB and have proof of this, you will most likely qualify! Up to 3 months so far!

Anyone who has recieved the CERB benefit this morning from Monday's CRA applications, please do not forget that it is TAXABLE INCOME. For those who may not otherwise know, this means, that although you received the full benefit non taxed in your account, depending on where you live, 15%-30% or more of it you will LIKELY need to pay the government back for come taxes next year. Which is approximately $600 of the benefit/month. If you receive that over the next 16 weeks, that m...eans $2400 you will need to pay back! Please make sure you understand this, and are ready for this during the 2021 tax season next year for 2020.

Okay! Good morning everyone! UPDATES TO THE ISOLATION BENEFITS !! I will be posting both BC and AB information here (a link for all other provincial links can be found at the bottom of this post), with additional updates within the comments as to not congest everyone's FB FEEDS.... So first and foremost, I want to introduce those who may not know about housing subsidies that have always existed for those whom are needing it. There are 2 types, one of which is available this second most provincial residents and another available for the COVID-19 effects on many. Below you can find information on both types! I wanna remind those that use these services 2 things as well. The government budgets a certain amount of everyone's tax dollars towards these services yearly, and you are entitled to them ALWAYS, so long as you meet the criteria they are asking for, and right now that is practically everyone with a household income of 40k or less! What's truly uncool to me is those who don't seek these benefits when they absolutely need the assistance considering money is taken from us all, per cheque, so that you may get back on your feet, above the medians and begin pushing the economy effectively for us all to live comfortably again. Lastly, as a reminder to all those who are skating the system and plan to take advantage of it. You are warned right now; These benefits I can PROMISE will be watched by the government, and if you're hiding income, in the coming years when we are relieved of this horrible tragedy, they will audit, and will do so especially if you attempt to claim anything out of your necessity of actual need.... They will do this by simply inquiring with your landlords for their tax submissions, especially if you've claimed the emergency benefit, and/or any other aid directed for those who need it. I can assure you I have been using these systems for many years to ensure I have been safe while caring for my mum over the years, and I know how they work. They WILL audit you, I've had it happen, and they will search for proof that you genuinely needed it. Do not take advantage of these programs as if you are found to do so, it will potentially be considered a form of tax fraud, which is held at the federal level. I am unsure how intense their enforcement of such things will be considering the virus and its effects on families, but I am warning you purely out of kindness of my own heart, DO NOT ABUSE THIS. Up to 14 years in prison for such criminal offenses. Ensure you are eligible, 100% before applying, and remember that if you are not, and you take advantage anyways, you are stealing from those who genuinely may need it like my mum. Please be kind! ALBERTA Fam! Your emergency benefit to bridge the gap between now and the additional funds in April has arrived, and more info on this and the application process can be found below! From the link:... "Overview Eligible working Albertans can receive a one-time emergency isolation support payment of $1,146 if they are required to self-isolate or are the sole caregiver of someone in self-isolation and they have no other source of pay or compensation. This is a temporary program to bridge the gap until the Federal Emergency Care Benefit is available in April. If you are eligible for federal Employment Insurance benefits, you are strongly encouraged to apply immediately."

Hey BC FAM!! All evictions are on pause due to the virus! A $500/m rebate on rent (paid directly to your landlord) will also soon be available on top of the $2K on the way! ... An additional $1K can be applied for soon for us (other provinces already receiving) to bridge the gap between when you receive benefits and the time being as well! An update and increase to the Emergency Support funds that will soon be available to all. Those who qualify for EI, and those who are not will be able to apply for these funds as early as April 6th, and will receive them as early as 10 days after application! Please take a min to read!

Some people are gonna come out of all this w new languages self taught, they'll be able to play the piano, guitar, etc. They'll know how to buy and sell stocks, mutual funds. Some people will have new businesses initiated, they'll be the new internet sensations, some will be producers, and content creators. Some will fall completely, lives will fall a part. It's up to us to decide what we do w all this time.... Time is precious, don't let the passing seconds be your ultimate peril. You've had goals, you've had dreams, don't let them slip away. The time is now people! TAKE YOUR TIME!

Just wanted to say, any one of ya deeply affected, I hope you take your mental health seriously through this time. These are extremely easy days to slip into heavy bouts of depressive episodes, and I truly hope you don't choose to just stay there. The darkness is not your friend, and it will kill you. Use this time to find what you love and the things you have always told yourself you'd do more of from home. ... Begin building a new business, expand your hobbies, improve your skills, get some online training. Whatever you can, just don't sit with your darkness please take better care of yourselves than that. Self love is so critical right now!

We all often fall to our demons, their grab of our soul, at our lowest, at our most needing of help. We can often feel so defeated as they consume our sanity of peace. Our peace of mind. We are all a part of those demons, as much as they are a part of ourselves however, and as we chase whatever we tend to chase, we forget that we hold our demons upon OUR hands. We let them breathe, we let them feast, ultimately we stop loving ourselves... and we let them in. We let them in.... Your demon may be a part of you, but it is not what defines you. Yet, it can be so damn easy to continue to fall to them regardless. I'm not here to tell you to stop feeling those things we sometimes hate, I'm here to say I want you to hold on. I hold on every day, for the ones who had to let go. When they should of never fallen at all. Please hold on. Please never stop. Please, just breathe.
