I heard an advertisement on the news for a company and their slogan was a fence is more than a fence depending on who builds it... and the Lord spoke to me an...d said "offence" is the same... Some people can say things to us that are hurtful and without thought...accusing and trying to cause division and we can let it roll right off our back but when someone we love and respect and have honoured and cared for does it...we can roll off track... We just never expect it from "certain people"... but we must remember when it does happen that God "works through offence" to fulfill His purposes in our life and in the lives of those we walk and work with. When we respond rightly to troubles and tests it strengthens our heart towards the Lord... Believers are tested for righteousness sake... When we experience suffering through the willfully hurtful acts of another we can trust God to work all things together for our good..because we love Him...were called according to His purpose and we are being made more like Him...day to day. II Corinthians 4:810 tells us We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. . . . Jesus suffered the pain of rejection and betrayal and was treated badly by those who could not perceive the truth of the plan of God he was walking out. He could have looked on those who hurt him as men who were carrying out a wicked plot but He saw them as human agents actually used of God to accomplish His Fathers bigger plan and purpose...even those "closest to Him" He kept his eyes on His Father, was faithful to the vision and He continued to walk forward regardless of the bad press...persecution and obstacles He faced...grieving and praying for those He loved and served when they betrayed...denied and lied about Him. Let's continue to be grateful and thankful knowing the truth that God is in all things and that it is His plan to use man to bring about His greater plan...Jesus knew this and was able to say...Father, forgive them for they know not what they do to me...and because of Him so can we...

We so appreciate you travelling from Hamilton and Toronto SEVERAL times to do much of the tear down, and lifting and loading...putting in long hours of hard work...and always with a... great attitude, and a smile on your faces. Larry Vander Schaaf,(who also travelled a long distance!), Russell Bradshaw, and Matt Gorecki thank you for giving up your work days to help with the reno work, and helping to sort and remove items.
