The weekend that just passed would have been Surf and Turf weekend. A two day affair at House of TARG organized by Jeff and our pal Patrick Shanks that has been consistently fun. Often it closes out our gigging for the year. In fact if I remember correctly it was the last show we played last year. We often wondered how we were gonna stay relevant in 2020 without any new music and no ability to play live shows. We recently discovered that we were featured on a children’s show on Netflix called Brain Child in an episode called Oceans. It uses our track Belka and Strelka from Sputnik A-Go-Go halfway through the cold open. Fun fact: Pharrell Williams is one of the musical producers for the series. So with this and our albums still being regularly featured on illegal Russian download sites, I don’t think we’ll be forgotten any time soon.

Reverb Syndicate 2020: Less terrible than expected!!! Seriously, it was our first practice since March. It didn’t go as bad as we thought it would, but more importantly, it was fun to play and hangout with friends. No official word on if we will play any shows in 2020 but this was a nice first practice.
