The Chi-Cheemaun returned to Owen Sound harbour over the noon hour on Monday, October 19, 2020 for its winter lay-up after another season of ferrying passengers... between Tobermory at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula and South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ferry was mostly empty with only the crew onboard for the trip south. In a normal year the ferry would have a full load of passengers enjoying the fall colours on what was a near-perfect autumn day. (Rob Gowan photos) See more
