August 10, 2020 It is with a very heavy heart that we, Shannon Refvik and Kristin Light of Refvik & Light Productions, announce the closing of The Richmond event venue. We are truly devastated by this decision; however could come to no other conclusion. To aid in the fight against COVID-19, we respectfully complied with provincial restrictions last March and temporarily closed the venue; however without a current revenue stream or adequate small business support, we can no l...onger sustain business operations. It has been an absolute pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful individuals, groups and vendors over the past 2 years in business (The Richmond operated for many years prior under previous owners). We are honoured to have witnessed so many loving couples take their vows, to have assisted so many incredible organizations and to have collaborated with some of the best vendors Toronto has to offer. We couldn’t have done it without our incredible staff; we miss you so much. We wish the best for all of you affected by this announcement amidst an unprecedented global crisis. May you and those close to you remain safe and healthy throughout these uncertain days, and emerge stronger than ever, ready to celebrate once again. We’ll be cheering from the sidelines.
