Since we're not able to use our patio for hosting our community at this time, we've decided to undertake a little project that we hope add a some beauty during these tough times. Thanks to our ever talented friend @kalbarteski, we now have some new script artwork on display on our patio This art seeks to have us embrace our gorgeous winter season, share our collective experience over the past year, and communicate our hopes and intentions for the future by asking the follo...wing questions : What have you learned? What do you miss? What do you hope for? What will you change? Walk down to our winter patio, take a picture with our artwork, and post your pictures with your answers to the above questions by tagging @the.ruby.west ** Please maintain physical distancing at all times when visiting our patio, and only with your household members please** We'll be randomly selecting responses for the next phase of this art project, so look for this in the coming days! We're so very grateful for all of the tremendous support we've received since we opened just over a year ago. We can safely say that without this, the Ruby West would not exist. So thank you. We know that 2020 was a very hard and tragic year for many in our community, and hope for better things in 2021.We also look forward to continuing to provide fresh, delicious, locally made food, and strive to be an asset to our community at all times. Our team was so happy to have been a small part of the "Wolseley Miracle" that collected food donations from across Wolseley for pickup at The Ruby West by the @bearclanpatrol This wonderful initiative donated a massive amount of food, and will be distributed across the city to homes in need. On this day a year ago after years of dreaming, eight months of a prolonged permit process, and six months of renovations, our two families were finally able to open the doors of the Ruby West restaurant. While our dream of a locally owned and operated gathering spot has been challenged time and again in our first year, we have also been continually heartened by the exceptional level of support and affection that we have received from our customers and community. This gives ...us to courage and conviction to carry on and do our best to ensure that we are able to serve our community in the years ahead. In acknowledgement of our one year anniversary, look for a special treat tomorrow, as well as new menu items to be released throughout the coming weeks. Thanks to everyone who has supported us this past year - we look forward to celebrating with you all in the days ahead :)

The Wolseley Miracle is happening today! You can participate by putting non-perishable food on your front step for pick up at 1:00 pm.
