Did you know that this year we are accepting major credit cards and interac at our kettles. Help us reach our goal of $140,000 to help support those in our community facing challenging times.
Thank you to the community for your generosity, we are almost at our 50% mark. This money will go a long way to helping those who are in need.
Thank you for your generosity. We are on our way towards our goal. Check back weekly for the updates. A bit of change from your pocket, can make a big change in someone's life.
Updated to December 1, 2020. We are edging near to our goal. Thank you to everyone who has donated. Did You Know? In 2019 The Salvation Sarnia helped feed 2453 children through our food bank, that is on average 204 children per month.
Thank you Matthew Reid for your generosity and the challenge you have issued. Community supporting community.
We are heading into our last week of appointments and they are filling fast. If you or someone you know is in need of help please call 519-330-0594 to make an appointment to fill out an application. Please know that we are relaxing the qualifications this year due to the current climate we are living in when it comes to applying for a hamper. We know there are many families struggling even when they are working, let us help take some of that stress away this year and spre...ad some Christmas Joy. Also, many people have said that they cannot get through to our Christmas number. However, they have been calling the Yule Glow number. We have no connection to Yule Glow and therefore the only number to contact us is 519-330-0594 May you have a Merry Christmas. The Salvation Army Sarnia
Our giving tree is up and ready to accept gifts this Christmas season at The Lambton Mall by the Dollarama. All new unwrapped gifts left at the tree will be distributed to children within our community in need. Let's make sure not one child goes without a Christmas morning this year.

We continue to serve this great community we live in. As you can appreciate this has been a very tough year for many. And as such it has been just as hard on the agencies who serve those in need. We are asking as the Christmas Season quickly approaches, if you are able to drop off a new toy ...or financial donation at 970 Confederation St, Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 3:30pm so we can continue to assist those in most need this year. Food insecurity is a large problem in our community. It is only through the generosity of our community that we can help families in these situations. Thank you.

National Donut Day today! We’re so honoured to participate with The Salvation Army in this tradition. 40 dozen donuts powdered on top only, the way they were or...iginally served in the First World War. They’ll be distributed to our modern day front-line heroes serving in our Long Term Care Homes. Special Thanks to Lieutenants Brad and Wavie Webster for letting Global Donuts & Deli be part of this great cause. And huge THANK YOU to all LTCH workers! Please share, you may win a dozen donuts! Thank you Gus and Global Donuts & Deli for partnering with us to support our local heroes serving at the area LTC homes. 40 dozen donuts have been delivered this National Donut Day. In 1917 The Salvation Army served the front lines during WWI and today we continue that tradition.
As we journey through this uncertain time we understand there are many families and individuals that are in need of a little extra help. On Saturday June 6th from 10am to 12pm (while supplies last) we will be offering a drive through Food Bank. This event is open to anyone who may feel that they just need that extra helping hand. We ask that all individuals please show ID through their car window when they arrive. This is a no contact event and we will require that no person exit their vehicle while on site. Supplies will be placed directly into your trunk.
Interesting read.
