Huge shout out to HCol Rod Hoffmeister, on the occasion of his birthday. Without the HCol the Seaforth would be in a different place than they are today. Rod has been a tireless supporter and is a major influence on the regiment, it’s association, patrons, and serving members. Thank you Rod for all you’ve done and all you will continue to do amongst your Seaforth family. Josh

Although at first glance this may just look like interesting footwear, these buckled shoes were worn by the Seaforth Highlanders (1910-1950’s) at formal functio...ns where these officers would often showcase their highland dancing abilities amongst the festivities. The second picture shows two Seaforth lads learning how to do a reel step! Amazingly, the Seaforths’ dancing tradition continues today- a few of their members are learning taking lessons with Shot of Scotch! See more
