Seeding Square

Thought I’d try my hand at growing an avocado tree. So far so good! Peeled it, wrapped it in wet paper towel, put it in a zip lock and tossed it in a dark drawer for a couple of weeks. Will be potting this weekend! Has anyone else tried this with success? Any tips or suggestions?
