SAFETY FIRST As of today, the city of Toronto has increased restaurant regulations to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. Some important new measures include: maximum party size of 6 logging contact information of every patron reduced overall capacity lowered background noise... In addition, TSC will always have a manager on the floor to keep the city’s regulations in place for a relaxed, safe dining experience. #safetyfirst #theshoreclub #torontorestaurant

THANKSGIVING WINES | TSC Toronto is offering a four pack of wines perfectly suited for a Thanksgiving dinner at home. Try these restaurant-only wines are priced at a reduced rate from the wine list! The collection was curated by Sommelier Allison Vidug. Below are her notes on each of the wines included. Domaine Rolet Père & Fils ‘Brut Crémant’ NV, Arbois-Jura, France A sparkling wine from the alpine region of Jura. The cool climate is ideal for sparkling wine production.... This wine is made in the traditional method, therefor providing Champagne-like qualities. The bouquet is expressive with notes of lemon, chalky minerality and doughy bread. Very fine mousse provides and creamy like texture. The perfect drink to toast the holiday! François Pinon ‘Demi-sec’ 2016, Vouvray, France Jancis Robinson MW once wrote Vouvray is Chenin Blanc, and to some degree Chenin Blanc is Vouvray Meaning that perhaps the wine region of Vouvray produces the greatest examples Chenin on earth. The François Pinon estate dates back to the late 1700s and has some of the oldest vineyards in the area. The 2016 achieves the spectrum of desirable aromas (baked apples, yellow plum, nectar), on the palate the wine is a perfect balance of minerality, focussed acidity and a hint of sweetness. This killer combination is ideal for roasted root vegetables and turkey. Domaine Chignard ‘Les Moriers’ 2018, Fleurie, France Domaine Chignard represents five generations of traditional vignerons in the region of Beaujolais. Fleurie is one of the ten Crus of Beaujolais (demarcated areas to the north that exhibit particulates terroir qualities, making these wines the best examples of the entire region). Fleurie provides pretty floral notes, but it is the steep granite soils of the Moriers (Mulberry) vineyard that gives depth, structure and power to the wine. Enjoy this perfumed Gamay Noir stuffing and dark meat. Château de Calvimont 2009, Cérons, France A sweet treat! Cérons is a neighbour to the most famous dessert wine region in the world, Sauternes. These unctuous wines are made on the left bank of Bordeaux from botrytis effected grapes. The fog from the river banks allows the grapes to naturally shrivel, concentrating the sugar and acid. The result is a wine with aromas of marmalade, honey and hints of truffle. Ideal for pumpkin pie or a cheese course. These wines have a value of $407, but are currently available as a four-pack with purchase of a food item for $346 + tax.
