The Shore Girls

Are you looking for something for your child to do next week? How does kayaking on Lake Charlotte sound? One of our Shore Girls is looking to hit the water with children from Ages 7-11 years of age as an Introduxtion to Kayaking.... Megan is a Canadian National Level Kayak Coach. She taught and coached Flat Water and White Water Kayaking in Nova Scotia and Quebec for 10 + years. If interested, the child can be dropped off for a lesson between Monday - Friday next week from 10-12am or 2-4pm. She is only taking 2 athletes per session. And you can PM or Call for Bookings. The cost is $40.00 per session, per child and a maximum of 2 children per session. Boats, Paddles and Life Jackets are provided. *The child must not be afraid of the water and the area of the lake in which the lesson would occur is shallow. Megan will introduce the sport and the equipment. The child will get their first taste of the kayak in the security of the lake where the child can practice exiting and leaning the kayak and learn the basic strokes, including sweep strokes, forward strokes, draws, and braces.
