Family photos....some 14 years later! Our last session was in August 2006. L+J seem ageless, and the 'boys' have grown into such handsome young men! And they are all still loving + laughing together. Such a great job I have...so lucky to witness and capture the grace of time passing.

More summer lovin'...at sunset! Fantastic wedding this past weekend down in southern Ontario farm country. Morgan + Nate are simply gorgeous together. Covid won't stop love! (it will just reduce the guest attendance to a more fiscally responsible number, which is a good thing)

Sunshine afternoon, token Muskoka plaid + a super cute couple. What more could a photographer ask for....???!?! I've said it before and will say it again - I ADORE doing engagement shoots! So much fun, relaxed and totally worthwhile. Muskoka provides so many gorgeous spots for engagement photos, as well as for weddings. (Just sayin'.) I feel so lucky to live and work in such a picturesque part of our earth.

I adore proposal shoots and engagement sessions. Especially when it is a perfect summer day on Bigwin Island, Lake of Bays. My job really doesn’t get much better than that. For reals. So happy Ben found me to capture this time for he and his soon to be wife, Shannon. What an adorable couple they make! Thanks to them for the amazing session.

Little more Muskoka love for y'all. Docks are a fantastic, albeit obvious, stage for wedding photos up here.....and we use them pretty well every single weekend. It is actually surprising how many ways one can pose a couple on a dock!

A wedding in Muskoka isn't complete without photos on a dock, and even better when there are Muskoka chairs about! Dreaming of warm, sunny, summer wedding days. They will be back.....and I will be there!

More summer lovin'. These two were the easiest couple ever. It rained and rained and rained on their wedding day, but they were determined to be wed on the shores of Fairy Lake. Guests gathered, with umbrellas and rain boots....it was an amazing sight. The rain subsided during the vows and afterward, the sun came out for us. This definitely a wedding day I will never forget.

Love is fun. These two lovebirds were candid, which makes my job so much easier. These moments of spontaneity in between all the lovey-dovey, are great reminders as to the playful nature of a young relationship and the true personalities that are in the photographs.

There is much love in this hug - can't you feel the warmth in this embrace? Proud momma and her baby girl on her BIG day. Just so darn sweet. I love seeing the dynamics of different relationships on wedding day, and always love to catch moments like this with my camera.

Rainy day weddings have such romantic light! These gorgeous lovebirds got a little wet during the ceremony, but worth every drop to be married atop a boathouse on the southern shores of Lake Joseph. Ah. Muskoka life. Muskoka weddings. How lucky are we??!?

Would you believe me if I told you that a fish was actually caught???! (albeit very small, and by a groomsman, after this series was made). Adding props to your wedding day photography can be so much fun, and it gives you something to 'do', taking your mind off the camera (which bodes very well for camera shy couples). Plus as the years go by, and life gets busy, sometimes what we used to do together as a couple changes, but having tangible evidence can inspire you to pick up that hobby that might have been lost in the shuffle of life. Here's to many years of doing things together.

I LOVE a wedding gown with pockets! Heather + Rob were just so darn cute together! We had so much fun wandering the vast property at Deerhurst Resort; it was a perfectly warm and sunny summer afternoon for them. Now that more than 15 weddings for this season have had to either postpone or cancel, due to this pandemic, I am feeling nostalgic about weddings, and remain very hopeful that those that are still in my calendar for this summer will actually get to be married in 2020!
