This is transferring more weight through his stride, and you can see he's now started to achieve a deeper knee bend for increased power and efficacy through the entire stride. ... Going forward the following protocols will be strongly enforced as an attempt to keep everyone safe by minimizing the risk of COVID-19. Masks must be worn at all times by all people within the facility. Athletes' temperature must be checked prior to entering the facility.... Skate sharpening customers must drop their skates off at the door and pay at the door. A contact tracing sheet must be signed by anyone who is not an athlete that needs to come into the building. This sheet is simply putting down your name, phone number, and date. Social distancing will be enforced by having stickers that indicate how far 2 meters is on the benches Coaches must sanitize their hands before and after each client. This video teaches you three great exercises that will improve balance and teach you how to move with proper lower body alignment. These exercises can be done anywhere and can be added onto your existing training regimen. Doing these exercises 2-3 times a week will quickly improve your single leg balance, helping you be more stable on your skates, allowing you to get in lower positions and deeper on your edges.
