Hi! My name is Tessa Tersmette My story starts off pretty rough! At 7 months old a waitress spilled a pot of hot coffee into my lap, resulting in 3rd degree burns over my legs. Shortly after, my biological father left me and my Mom. It was me and my Mom until I was 6 , when she met my Dad and he adopted me My parents were so different, but both always encouraged self improvement, spirituality, and forward thinking. ... I can still vividly see my Dad, under a blanket with his meditation stand, sitting in my parents bedroom every morning meditating. He was a Reiki Master and so we were exposed to these methods from an early age. Although, it would take me many years to truly appreciate them. At 29 I was pregnant with my son, and at 33 had my daughter. During this time I lost myself. I was so entrenched in motherhood, work(as a nurse) and the business of life that I literally just faded away. Taking care of myself was last on the long list, right next to my relationship with my husband. This led to a huge disconnect in my marriage and eventually infidelity and talk of divorce. Amidst all of this, Jori had a stroke and found Psych K while listening to a podcast. We immediately signed up for the Basic workshop. About a month before, our Dad passed away suddenly. It was a final push and wake up call for me. I had to take charge of my happiness and my life. I know without a doubt, that all of my experiences have been divinely led and have purpose. To be on this journey with my sister ( and all of you!) makes it all the more sweeter. Seeing the life changing moments in my clients live and being a part of their own journey to fulfillment, is an absolute honour. You are the cause to every effect in your life

Let me reintroduce myself My name is Jori-Alana West I grew up with two very different, divorced yet forward thinking and extremely spiritually evolved parents. When I was three I was taught how to meditate and see light in my temple forehead and my father gave us reiki treatments and attunement as kids. When I was 13 I learned how the power of thought alone can change you at a molecular cellular level. However, It wasn’t until my twenties that I started really apply...ing my knowledge and delving deeper into the subconscious and spiritual world. In the beginning of 2019 I developed Deep Vein Thrombosis in my brain which caused me to have a stroke and the pressure in my brain lead me to have double vision, leaving me basically unable to see for months. I was left only to listen to podcasts, music and meditate as I slowly got better. I was introduced to Psych K through a podcast with @shamandurek which forever changed my life. I immediately scheduled a session with a facilitator in my province and felt a complete shift mentally, physically and spiritually which drastically sped up and supported my healing process after the physical traumas my body endured. I immediately felt a pull to learn this healing method for myself and signed up with my sister, Tessa. A month before our first Psych K course, our father suddenly passed away, which was heavy and beautiful and sad and really all of the things that death is at its very core. It brought us together even more so as a family and changed the way we navigated our first course as we were dealing with grief. We are resilient and continue to grow and evolve, with the tools we have available to us that make it just a little bit easier.
