thanks to encouragement from a writer friend, I’ve just published a short story on Wattpad. https://www.wattpad.com/843646491-coming-through-perhaps Wattpad is a tremendously interesting publication site, though it’s dense you could spend weeks trolling through all the content, it’s a total rabbit hole! But it has a good reputation for publishing interesting voices, writers who don’t have (or choose not to have) mainstream publishers. Apparently Margaret Atwood regularly trolls Wattpad in search of new voices. Hmmmm.

Another book! OK don't get too excited - this is not the long-awaited sequel to The Sow's Ear Cafe but it is a very special publication: TapPressRead, collected stories available through the Calgary Central Library's Short Story Dispenser. I have two five-minute stories in this anthology! Official launch will be Sunday Mary 10, 2 PM at the library including readings and books for sale. I'd love to see some familiar faces!
