The Steadward Centre for Personal & Physical Achievement 09.11.2020

A follow up message from TSC's Director: Hi Everyone, In follow up to our message on March 12th, I wanted to send out an update on changes to program and service delivery at The Steadward Centre in response to the evolving situation with COVID-19.... First of all, I hope you are doing okay. Times like these can feel extra stressful and with recommendations to stay home and maintain social distance from others it can feel really isolating. I want you to know that TSC staff are looking into ways to keep our members connected (e.g., through social media and online exercise and fitness programming) to help reduce feelings of isolation during this time. We have made the difficult decision to suspend all of The Steadward Centre's programming. This will include all programs wtihin Adult Fitness and Recreation, Free2BMe, and ParaSport. These program closures will be effective until Easter weekend (April 13th) at which time we will re-evaluate the situation. We do not know if there will be any impact to Spring programming, however, we anticipate pushing back the release of the program guide and registration dates. We know that this is not an easy time for everyone - our members (that's you!) are so important to us and we are doing our best to keep everyone safe and healthy. In the coming days we will continue to stay in touch as it is important to us that we keep our TSC community together! If you have questions or would like more information, you are welcome to reach out to us at [email protected] or (780) 492-3182. If you are looking for up to date information about COVID-19, please visit Alberta Health Services website at www.alberta.ca/coronavirus-info-for-albertans.aspx#toc-9 Thank you for your understanding and support! Jen
