On Sunday evening at approximately 10:05 pm we had someone steal our Suds Launderette carpet from our front entrance. Although this is not the crime of the century, these petty crimes do hurt our community. Helps us catch this individual, and you can get some free wash n fold as a reward! Thanks for the great Post! So true. Our staff has actually been dealing with a lot of really disrespectful and rude clients over the past few weeks. As an essential service we have been open throughout this crises on a drastically modified schedule. 99% of our customers are awesome and have been very supportive and appreciative of what we have had to deal with and are still trying to deal with. Unfortunately, that 1% has been very trying on our amazing staff. As a business we... never want to push away customers (especially these days) and try to do whatever we can to accommodate them, however I also don’t think it’s right that we as business owners should put up with people that disrespect not only our staff, but also the other great customers that frequent our businesses. Don’t be afraid to be firm, but fair with clientele that does not respect the rules that you have put in place at your business. If you lose one or two of the ones that cause the problems, your staff and existing clients, will appreciate that more than you know. The customer is not always right. The customer needs to be listened to and respected, provided that they demonstrate that same respect to your staff as well as your fellow customers. After almost 2 month of our service counter being closed, we are happy to be reopening tomorrow morning. Our amazing staff has been working hard these past months to keep the store clean and fresh. For the past couple of days we did an extreme deep clean. Our service counter will be open Monday-Friday 8-7, Saturday and Sunday 10-3. We will continue to ask that no more than 5 customers are in the store at any given time. For our customers that wish to do their own laundry, we... ask that you wait outside between cycles and that you fold your laundry at home. Our washrooms will be closed to the public and we will not have any seating in the store for customers. We also ask that you be patient and kind to other customers as well as our staff. This has definitely been a trying time for all of us and will continue to be so for the next while for sure. Suds Launderette is open! As an essential service we are committed to our community. We have our amazing staff coming in several times per day to clean and disinfect high touch areas of the store. If you do come in to do your own laundry please consider doing the following to help in social distancing: 1. Use the free sanitize cycle before your wash. Simply turn the dial to sanitize, close and lock the washer door, push the dial to start the 1 minutes cycle that will then r...inse out the washer for you. 2. If you came by car, stay in your vehicle during the wash and dry cycles 3. After drying your clothes, fold them at home to limit your time in the store. 4. If there other customers at the store, please respect the 2 meter rule. 5. Don’t forget to smile. Smiles are free and perfectly safe and it’s amazing how much good they do. Please be kind and respectful to not only other patrons but to our staff as well. This is stressful for everyone, but we will all make it through this difficult time. Thanks for your support. Robert
