#blackouttuesday My confession today is that in the past I have allowed clients to say racist things because I was afraid of offending them if I spoke up. Now I would like to make it very clear that racism will not be tolerated in my studio or my life ever again without me speaking up about it. Being silent is allowing racism to continue, not sorry at all. Black lives matter.

To all my sweet, sweet friends and clients (I'm very blessed that those are often interchangeable for me!) I'm sorry for being absent for so long! If I'm being honest, I haven't really felt very motivated to post anything. I really was not expecting this pandemic to go on for as long as it has and it has definitely taken its toll on me! I pray that you guys are all handling it better. Thank you for being patient, thank you to those of you who have sent kind messages.... Unfortunately I haven't seen anything yet that says I am allowed to reopen, though I did see some categories which I laughed at and thought we might be able to squeeze in under if it goes on much longer. Hoppy Easter, my peeps! (get it? peeps?)

Still Closed I believe what I saw today, was that everything still had to be closed until the 14th of April! I'm hoping and praying for big things here guys, I believe this will come to an end if we all do our part! ... In the mean time, my tip for everyone is to not shave. I know I know, I'm asking a lot of you guys but trust me, you'll regret it. That is the one thing in this world that is certain right now, shaving is a mistake! In similar news, I've just learned how to blast you guys all with emails at the same time! So, the second I know anything, you will as well and I will open my books as wide as they go to make getting back on the sugaring track easy for all of you! I love you guys, this is pure torture for me. I am deeply invested in not only your hair removal journey but your lives as well and I miss you all dearly. Effective immediately, @thesugaryptbo is closed until further notice The saddest post, but probably the most necessary. Doug Ford announced today that all non essential businesses must close. I'm not sure they fully understand how essential hair removal is, am I right!? (I'm totally joking, we have to stop this virus from spreading).... I will keep you guys updated with anything new, and if you need anything from me over this time like advice or a friend, I am definitely here for that! Until next time, stay safe out there. See more

COVID-19 UPDATE Hi pretty Sugar Fam! Firstly, I would like to say that I am so sorry to anyone who is experiencing anxiety or fear because of this virus and all of the news and scary stuff that's happening in our community right now. I totally understand panic when it comes to just following what other people are doing. I was sent to Giant Tiger the other day by Brett for doritos, andddddddd I came home with 75$ worth of macaroni and other things we don't need bec...ause everyone at the store seemed to be panicking! So I learned something new about myself, and how I should not be left alone in a panicking crowd! Brett made an excellent point after that happened, he said "why didnt you call me?" And I think if I had of done that, I could have saved some of my sanity and some of my money that day! So that is my advice if you do have to go out into the world over the next little bit, if you're feeling anxious, call a loved one! Okay and now for The Sugary! I've received a few messages of people asking if they're still allowed to come for their appointment, and my answer so far is absolutely! As long as you are not feeling sick, please feel free to come! I will inform you all if I make any other decisions or if I myself am starting to show any symptoms. As of right now I clean everything after every client, my bed, the door handles, any surface that might have been touched with lysol wipes! And I do a more thorough clean every evening after my last client. That being said, if coming to your appointment is going to give you anxiety or make you uncomfortable in any way, feel free to reschedule!
