AFTER JOB HAD ARGUED FOR A LONG time, and God had decl...ared again and again His Providence; it seemed the scales fell off Job's eyes.Suddenly it dawned on him that he must have had a hand in what was happening to him.As a result he decided to keep quiet and listen to God.Sometimes when people are going through things they need to keep quiet and listen to the word of God, until they can receive some direction in their spirit.Many times what people do is to declare their innocence, claiming that they don't know what is happening to them.Don't do that.The key thing to note here is that whether you are the cause of the problem or not; your Heavenly Father can restore to you all that you have ever lost.That is what happened in Job's life.God restored to Job every thing that He had lost.I see God restoring to you all that you have ever lost.I see your joy restored.I see your health restored.I see your glory restored.I see your wealth restored.Be still in the presence of God and let His wisdom fill your spirit.To the ends of the earth! For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth!What a praise to God!He reigns!They are acknowledging that God reigns, that is why He has destroyed all the enemies of God and mankind.It is clear then that God is God.He is alive and He reigns.And because He reigns all enemies will be subdued!It doesn't matter who those enemies are, they will be subdued!Your God reigns, you have nothing to fear.Your God, He alone is God!There is no one like Him. Revelations 6 FAMINE AND SCARCITY ARE SPIRITUAL And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of b...arley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. IN THIS CHAPTER WE ARE witnessing the opening of the seals. The seals are definitely the judgements of God on an unrepentant world that have spurned His love and mocked His precious gift of grace. It is clear that with the opening of each seal, we see a manifestation of judgement on earth. In this third seal we see how a black horse went forth and the man that sat on the beast had a pair of balances. The black horse is a symbol of darkness, sadness and want. The pair of balances is a symbol of scarcity of provisions. It is a sign that provisions will be rationed by weight. It is clear here that even God tempered this judgement with mercy. In that He commands that the wine and the oil be not hurt. The key thing to note here is that most of the trouble we face on this earthly sphere are commandeered from the spirit world. This is the reason that walking with the Holy Spirit and walking in the Word is so important in the life of every child of God. As you mature spiritually, you are able to stand against and thrive in the midst of these kind of things being released on humanity. It is clear that in the context of this passage, we are dealing with the time of tribulation. But it is clear also that the world faces famines from time to time which are sent by the powers of Hell to destroy humanity. Abraham face famine, Isaac faced it; Jacob faced his famine etc. It is of note that all these men conquered the famines in their generation through the power of their covenant with God. Their faith was a testimony to their God. Now, it can not be any less with us. We must stand in the power of our righteousness and the life of God in us and overcome the hardships that confront us in our generation. We must stand in faith in the midst of the famines we face, confess our abundant provisions in Christ. We must hold very dear to our hearts, David's precious words in the 23rd Psalm: The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures of abundance He leads me beside the still waters of Prosperity He restores my soul. He leads me in the path of righteousness, for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death; I will fear no evil. For He is with me; His word and His spirit, they comfort me. He prepares a banqueting table of abundance of victory, health, prosperity and success, in the very presence of my enemies of lack, failure, poverty and disease. He anoints my head with oil, my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercies are following me, all the days of my life and I am dwelling in the House of my God. Forever and ever! Amen! This famine going on all over the world will not get to you. Talk your supply into existence! There is abundance in your Father's Kingdom! Take advantage of it. To the ends of the earth!
