A Speaker called Michael approached us with a great offer: He would be our exclusive speaker, referring all of his direct speaking requests to us so we could take a commission for doing nothing. It sounded great, but there was a catch In return he wanted us to recommend him to our clients as the best speaker on his topic. We saw this as a conflict of interest. We dont do exclusive deals with any speakers.... Our recommendations to our clients are impartial and are based on our mission: to find the right speaker for your event. There is nothing wrong with other agencies that do have exclusive deals its just a different model and approach to the business.
