What is the point of a booking fee? How important is it to book your mare in early? Honestly, I won’t turn you away. I accommodate my clients! It just might be a matter of not right now. Pens are fully booked, so we can only ship semen at this time. So if you have a specific time you want your mare onsite for Artificial Insemination I do suggest you book in. Here’s my 3 barrel drill that I do to get my horses to lift their shoulders as they move forward. It really helps to get them to stand up and get into position ...after leaving the first barrel to go to the second. What I’m explaining as I’m riding in this little demo is how I position my seat as I’m doing this drill. I refer to my seat as my pockets in this. I think of it as riding your seat under your hands, after all your horse feels your seat first - why not use it to our advantage. See more
