Exciting news! Lynda Grimard-Watt has been serving Beaches/East York families for over 3 years with her outstanding selection of French children’s books and educational resources. When word got out that her Children's French Book Corner needed a new home fast, people were instantly messaging us at The Teaching Space. Did we have space? Interesting times call for creative partnerships and this one is a perfect fit! We are so excited to welcome Lynda and Children’s French Book ...Corner to The Teaching Space and to our stretch of the Danforth. Children’s French Book Corner will live in the front two rooms at The Teaching Space and be open Tuesdays through Friday 11-6 pm and on Saturdays from 10-5pm. Lynda carries a wide selection of French books for preschool to Grade 8 children AND a selection of educational resources for students learning in French. Children’s French Book Corner will be re-opening to the public starting October 6, 2020.

What SPACE do you need this fall? On Danforth east of Woodbine, The Teaching Space has small, medium and large spaces available for booking by the half day, day or month. Message us or email [email protected] for a tour.

We need help naming our teaching spaces! So, it didn’t turn out to be the BEST time to open a space designed for people to gather . We were set to open April 1st, but we will be patient! Good things come to those who wait. In the mean time let’s have a little isolation fun. Our teaching spaces need names!... On our main floor we have 4 teaching spaces. Check out the pics of each and our main floor plan. Our front and back offices are our largest at 125 sq ft each. They are great for small workshops of up to 6-8 people. We also have a 90 sq ft office perfect for 2-4 people and our cozy 45 sq ft office just right for a 1:1 teaching session. Now they need names! Think a quartet of names related to teaching or education. We’d love to hear your suggestions Go!
