Since the closure of our physical office on March 16, we have continued to provide emotional support services remotely and have assisted families finding the resources they need wherever possible. As the closure of our office and many other critical services continue, family’s needs are increasing. Recognizing this, TTG is preparing to resume our practical support services for families. The current environment presents new challenges for dispersal, but we cannot wait any longer to get these critical supplies to families. The animated video explaining the science behind the transmission of HIV through breastfeeding has won a CIHR award! https://cihr-irsc.gc.ca/e/51823.html The Teresa Group was a close partner in this project. The involvement of participants in our Moms’ Group over a period of several months was instrumental in shaping all aspects of the development of the video.
