CCR - Green River (Early ToneKats) From the vault June 11, 2008 - The ToneKats at Market Square for The University Hospitals Charitable Foundation. A little history and trivia... We were still dressing fancy for gigs back then. The band started in 2003 and originally played rockabilly - the band did car shows and gigs like that as The Rockabilly All Stars, soon there was more demand for newer material and the band learned a new show and did some gigs as the ToneKats. Over tim...e the Rockabilly ended and the ToneKats modernized their set over the last dozen years to become one of the most popular bands in Kingston. in June 2008 the ToneKats were... Clint Hierlihy (Bass) - Juno (RPM)-winner from 1964 (The Esquires) - played in the band since 2003 and retired soon after this show. Clint came up with the name "ToneKats" (in 2003) Scott Evans (Drums) - previously in the Freeze, Gasoline and later the Bon Evans Band Today The ToneKats are... Guitar and Vocals - Dave Bull, same as today John Sedgwick (bass, vocals) has been with Dave since 2008 Adam Chartrand joined on drums, vocals in 2019. See more
