Let's Have Some Fun! 10 Interesting Things About Me (in no particular order): 1. I used to run a dog daycare and boarding business (yes before I was obsessed with all things baby I was obsessed with all things dog and of course I still LOVE dogs)... 2. I volunteered in Fukushima, Japan in 2011 after the tsunami and earthquake. I went with an animal rescue organization and we worked at getting dogs and cats out of the areas that were being closed because of radiation levels. 3. I did my Postpartum Doula training when Austin was 6 months old. After struggling during both of my postpartum periods I was determined to help moms and make their lives easier during this stressful time. 4. I met Dan when I was 17 years old. We have been together since the day we met 5. I love chocolate so much I named my pets Rolo, Snickers, Bounty and Mars. 6. I am a recovering people pleaser I still struggle with putting other people's needs before my own and ending up burnt out. 7. I LOVE to try new things. Found something exciting you like to do? I went on a group overnight horseback riding adventure in Black Diamond, Alberta with by best friend in 2018. It was hosted by Terry Grant from the show Mantracker. It was crazy fun and we learned a lot, we definitely underestimated the difference between riding for a couple hours at a time and riding for full days at a time. We were so sore we were laughing and crying at the same time 9. I used to say I would never have kids. Like a lot. I loved my dogs so much and didn't want children. And then I changed my mind. Now I love my kids so much, I work with babies, and can not imagine my life without them. 10. My natural hair colour is BROWN. But you will probably never see it Thanks for reading!
