Toronto City Council have lost their minds! I'm all for the bikes, but this is Canada. We have literally 5 months a year to use the outdoors, maybe 7 months for bikes to travel safely. The war on the cars continue. After the St. Clair disaster and the Eglinton LRT fiasco, it's a joke. A joke for drivers and a joke for cyclists. Surely the City could find a safer way for bikes to travel in this city, like the roads just to the east and west of main roads where they can travel free from debris on the road, and free from having to watch out for cars... Shame on City Council...

This interesting list is US-centred, so they left off the list the newly elected leader of the Green Party of Canada, Annamie Paul, how hits both categories, and will hopefully rid that part of the antisemitism that has plagued in over the years.

Building on the previous questions - the post a few days before this one - that children (my children) have asked about the way we do things, and why. How is the US possibly considering taking away women's rights to do what they want with their own bodies? If the US is REALLY pro-life, then they would ban guns, and murder, and violence, because who says the life of an unborn baby matters more than the life of a child or adult who are killed for the colour of their skin, their sex or their ethnicity?
