For so many reasons, we need to treat animals--ALL ANIMALS--better.

PLEASE don't support this. It's not entertainment. It's abuse.

These babies were all taken from their mothers immediately after birth and placed in these small and horrible crates. In order for a cow to produce milk, she ...must become pregnant, like it is with all mammals - and her babies are not supposed to drink her milk, so they are taken from her. Once a year the cow is forcibly inseminated, she's pregnant for 9 months and then she gives birth. After a 3 months 'break', the dairy farmer inseminates her once again, to keep her milk production going. After 3-6 forced pregnancies, her lactation declines and she is slaughtered. People don't think about these babies or their mothers, when they buy or consume dairy products and most people believe that consuming dairy is harmless. I think, that if we could ask these babies, or their mothers, they would disagree. I honestly think that most people would beg for forgiveness if they truly understood what misery they pay for, when they buy dairy products. By the way, all male calves will be killed in a few months as they are useless in the dairy industry and will only make a small profit as 'veal'. Peace! @casperhilt

To some he was just a number, a product that can be exploited and sold. But for those that took the time to look in his eyes he was a beautiful sentient being. ...An individual who feels pain and joy, who wants to live just like any of us. We saw him for who he really was and it broke our hearts not being able to save him. Forever in our hearts. We do our best to be there for them, to share their plight and change society's view of them. Go vegan and get involved! Join us at our weekly morning vigils, Tuesdays for the Cows and Lambs 9:30 am-12 pm at "St. Helen's Meat Packers" slaughter plant at 1 Glen Scarlett Road.. #stopbill156 #exposingthetruthisnotacrime See more
