One of my favourite Christmas memories is the year that my son was three. To say he got "into the Christmas Spirit" would be an understatement! His outfit of choice was the kid-size Santa suit most of the time (even to sleep in!) ... When we went to visit Mr. & Mrs. Claus at the North Pole he climbed right up on Mrs. Claus's lap and just snuggled right in like he'd known her forever! I think I can learn a thing or two from that little guy and his pure joy and happiness in the Christmas season! What is a favourite Christmas memory of yours?

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a teacher, a social worker or waitress! Being a small business owner never really crossed my mind. But I love it! In what other job can you play the roll of HR, product purchaser, merchandiser, technology troubleshooter, box hauler, order shipper and toy tester all in the same day?... In a small business there really is a person behind the scenes who does a happy dance when you choose to use their service or buy their product! What are the "hot toys" this year? Well, this year we have noticed that kids and parents are leaning heavily towards retro toys! Many toy makers are putting out things that hit on that nostalgic note. Playmobil has introduced Back to the Future and Scooby Doo to their lineups (both of which sold out in no time!) My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears have made a big comeback this year too! ... Grown ups love seeing their old favourites again and little ones love playing with the same things as mom or dad had!

Game Night With the weather starting to shift and fall a day away I am thinking about reinstating Game Night at our house again. With a preteen in the house it is sometimes hard to convince him to play games with Mom & Dad! I am going to steal a trick I learned from my older cousin. 'FFF' or Forced Family Fun! Once per week we each get to pick a game to play as a family. Everyone has to play!No grumbling and chances are we'll all have fun!... Whatcha think?
