Dear Wakefield School Families, WEHSA is thrilled to launch this year's Pizza Friday Orders. Yes, it's finally back! We are also thrilled to share with you our new and improved website which we hope makes Pizza ordering easier, as well as providing you information about WEHSA activities in support of our school and students. ... On our website, you will find information concerning our fundraisers, important dates, how you can get involved, as well as a feedback function where you can share ideas and issues. It also includes some of the more boring information such as our governance documents. You will also find our annual (treasurer's) reports where you can see how much WEHSA has raised and where funds have been spent. It is all in an effort to be open and transparent about our activities. As for Pizza, we encourage you to use the online ordering as it makes our life A LOT easier. You can order Pizza under our new 'shop' function. We have provided different payment options, where you can pay by PayPal or use credit/debit without creating a PayPal account. We accept payments in cash for ‘non’ online orders or by cheque payable to WEHSA. Please note that you cannot order online and then pay by cash or cheque. When ordering from the Shop we encourage you to create an account so you can track all your orders. There is also a $2.00 processing fee to defray the transaction costs of the third party providers we are using (PayPal and Stripe). We have included an FAQ section to explain how everything works. A key difference in the Pizza this year is that you will only be able to order ONE type of Pizza per week and ONE type of beverage per week. We are still providing three choices of pizza, but you can only choose ONE type per week. There is also still two choices of beverages. There is also a maximum number of 3 slices per week, and a maximum number of 2 beverages per week that can be ordered. We were forced to do this as the system kept crashing when we tried to provide multiple choices per week. As in the past, WEHSA members pay less per slice of pizza. If you would like to join WEHSA you can now do so online, or by filling out the attached membership form. Pizza prizes per slice have also gone up by $0.25, and milk by $0.05, as our costs have also increased. We hope that you will find the new website informative and useful, as well as making your shopping experience easier. The address stays the same at www.wehsa.ca . If you have any questions about Pizza or the website, please contact us at [email protected] or on facebook. We would love to hear what you think about the new website! Thank you for your support, WEHSA
