The current climate for men’s mental health has come to a critical point in history, where national strategies need to be made to address the increasing number of men who are experiencing mental health-related challenges. - The statistics are quite staggering - approximately 10% of Canadian men experience significant mental health challenges. Additionally, around 1 million Canadian men suffer from a major depressions each year, and among Canadians of all ages, 4 of every 5 s...uicides are male. - As a society, stigmas associated with #MentalHealth are prevalent and common, and men face the added stigma that seeking help for mental health is a sign of weakness.
