A message to the community: A beaver dam has gave way between the Swift Rapids and the Waubic causing a lot of logs and depris to float down the river. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. Happy last hurrah of summer! As we head into the labour day weekend we would like to remind everyone that large groups and busy times will lead to longer waits, we apologize for this inconvenience! Unfortunately due to medical reasons unrelated to covid we are short staffed in the kitchen this weekend and will be serving patio only, not offering takeout. We will be open Friday to Sunday 11am-8pm, closed the holiday Monday. Cheers to another weekend on the water! Stay safe

A beautiful sky to end a day that put everything into perspective. For those of you who weren’t aware, we had a very unfortunate fire on the Waubic property today losing one of our cottages. We would like to give a major thank-you and appreciation for the community that lent a hand and helped to get the flames under control as much as possible while waiting for the fire department. Everyone is safe and that is the most important thing, and ultimately the only thing that matters. The Waubic restaurant will be back to regular hours starting tomorrow, Thank-you for your understanding and patience with us! We are very fortunate to be a part of this incredible Severn River community, Thank-you!!!!
