DIY HAND SANITIZER RECIPE: All my clients know my obsession and dedication to using natural products whenever possible. Our skin is our largest organ and it totally matters what we put on it!! Natures Aid is my go to healing and soothing product after every wax service. It contains ingredients like Aloe Vera, witch hazel, tea tree, rosemary and vitamin E. (If you use the blue bottle it also has argan oil for extra moisturizing!) These ingredients already have natural sooth...ing and antimicrobial properties, so why not make them into a hand sanitizer, one that smells great and doesn’t dry your hands out! Recipe: 2 parts rubbing alcohol (99%) 1 part nature’s aid Whisk the ingredients really well together before transferring to a container. Some separation is normal if it’s left sitting for a prolonged period of time. If this happens, re whisk or shake really well to make sure the two ingredients are fully mixed again. Using 99% alcohol with the above recipe will give your hand sanitizer approximately 65% concentration of alcohol. What does your routine look like right now? A Yoga practice has always been apart of my life and is the one thing that works my mind, body and spirit at the same time, my favourite! It’s also the one thing that seems to suffer when my schedule becomes super full and crazy! As sad as it’s been to temporarily close, I’m also proud to be apart of the many businesses, big and small, that are doing so. This time has allowed me to reprioritize things that are important to me, like... yoga. I’ve realized that I CAN practice at home effectively, and it’s ok to make yoga work for me. I’m getting more benefit right now doing 20-40 min practices every day in my bedroom then stressing to drive to my 90 min yoga class 1-2 times a week, if that! It’s truly helping to keep me grounded every morning!
