This is a "My Bad" Post! As almost everyone knows at this point, the new fall issue (#144) of the Wayback Times has been printed and will be fully distributed by the end of Sunday, September 6th. (Ottawa route on Thursday and Niagara on Sunday.) Although I try to be very diligent and not mess up... every now and again, I do. So, to try to make amends this time around I am going to attach the two ads (classified and business card) for Cedar Chest Antiques in Stirling that I ...completely missed putting in the fall issue (and wouldn't you know it, it covers 4 months this time!) My apologies to Cedar Chest! It is really a wonderful shop to visit and in a beautiful location if you're going for an autumn drive. But wait! There's more! Somehow the phone number for Ed's hardware got left behind when his ad was placed, so I'm going to show Ed's ad as well... and yes, it is also a wonderful place to get to. Happy September... looks like a perfect morning here in our neck of the woods! Hope it is where you are, too. The fall issue of the Wayback Times has been printed and we are about half way through delivery. If it seems a little early for the last quarterly issue - it is. After skipping the summer issue (as per survey results from our advertisers) we've opted for a 4-month fall issue that covers Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec. The next issue, Winter 2021, will be printed in late Dec...ember. Thank you to everyone for your support and encouragement throughout the Covid-19 ordeal to date. We sincerely wish all of our wonderful advertisers the very best at this time. We realize how difficult it is to operate a retail business under the current circumstances, and fervently hope that the WT plays a role in letting our readers know you're up and running with all the proper protocol in place for your visitors. It's the 25th anniversary of th Wayback Times. I think Jay Telfer would be really pleased that his brainchild is thriving. It's part of a somewhat different environment now, not just because of the pandemic, but also digitally... it's a world of social media these days, but the WT is proof that readers still enjoy the printed word. So, if you're heading out to one of your favourite antique shops... here is the cover of our 25th anniversary issue.
