My raspberries have been epic this year and Ive picked over 25 of these trays!!

A photo from this year. Dahlias in the front plus some cabbage, celery, tomatoes, snow peas, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach and arugula. This is only my second year growing cabbages and my first year growing celery and both are doing surprisingly well.

Longing for some warm weather!!

Every year I start out with a plan and every year it turns out completely different than what I pictured on my head. Well see what happens this year...

My mom and I planted dinner plate dahlias this year and they are literally the size of a dinner plate. Simply amazing!

These three went to their summer home today. Sad to see them go, but excited to see what they look like in a few weeks!

So I found this rusty folding chair in the bush last year and I made it into a planter. It didn't look quite right on a pristine patio so this year, I put it back in the bush and planted some shade-loving begonias in it. I think it looks pretty cute!

Summer's windowsill has some great natural light! Unfortunately, she already tried to water them, which caused a mini flood.

Working late! It's generally easier to plant while my two "assistants" are sleeping.

I left this Xmas cactus for dead a few months ago and now it's blooming. I thought they only bloomed before Xmas, however, my mom informed that they usually bloom before Easter too...which makes this little guy right on schedule!

My dad brought me some carrots from his garden today. I guess it was a bumper year for carrots!

I successfully experimented with propagation last spring so I am wintering a few more plants this year.

Took advantage of the nice day and scavenged for these lovely birch canes with the kids. Now to decide what to do with them!

I remember my grandma planting and drying strawflowers when I was a little girl. That memory motivated me to plant some myself this year and I finally did something with them!
