Thrifting is something most people are ALL FOR, or often they're on the other side...the judgement side. Wherever you sit, let me shed some light and just talk about thrifting from a let's create less waste, reduce, reuse, and recycle kind of view. I know some of you wouldn't dream of purchasing items pre-loved, this post is for you too. I'll talk a bit about the power we have in small decisions, such as where you donate your own used items. I'll talk about why it matters to ...our communities where you donate after watching Marie Kondo, Clea and Joanna and get inspired to declutter your life. When I grew up we didn't go without, we had what we needed, but we didn't often have everything NEW, or extras. Family and friends passed down bags of clothes and shared them among households. We actually sewed the holes in our socks, and mended the warn out holes in our jeans. Old furniture was given new life, never tossed out. We appreciated what we had and took good care. I want to instill these values in my children. For me thrifting is totally normal and I would even say I love it. Your additude is everything. When you walk into a thrift store it can be overwhelming to even know where to begin. Many people don't love to search the racks. Well if that's you, then my friends please, step out of your comfort zone ever so slightly. If you can't, maybe this gold mine isn't for you, and that's ok. This month is Thyroid #Cancer awareness month. it's impossible to explain the exhaustion a person can feel when their thyroid isn't doing it's job. The kind of reprecutions that can have on other body systems. Be Kind to everyone. We all have silent battles, that are incomparable to each other's. #Thyroid #health affects the entire body. Instead of imagining miles in each other's shoes can we all agree that everyone's battle is worth #fighting and completely #individual and... just love eachother for who we are without questioning each other's motivations or lack there of!! I recall reading a post talking about how Eeyore was always depressed, complaining and moping, but his friends continued to invite him on their adventures and never treated him with anything but kindness because he is worthy.. Can we all be a little more like my favorite #wildlings from the Hundred Acre Woods? You don't have to explain yourself to anyone. You can complain and be brave. You can push through it and hide your pain. You can share as much or as little as you choose. I don't have to look for inspiration, they come to my bed every morning and make sure I'm woke Let's make the future bright and sustainable for them, all the tiny wild souls of the world.

So my grandma came over today, saw I had my hands full and didn't have the time to give her my attention and left, saying "oh you look busy I'll just go then..."...(mmmmm....thanks... I KNOW!!!) I was a little shattered that my kids playing and me being overwhelmed with housework scared her off, but about 2 minutes later she came back and decided to play Jenga with Odin. It's the little things that make all the difference (Thanks Grandma!! We love you and all you do!!!)

This year we are making our own Phenological wheel of the seasons in our area with our kids. This is such a beautiful tool for teaching children about their surrounding environment and fun to do together. The guide we chose and purchased is called Raising Little Shoots Phenology Wheel, by Lynne Suddon, and I'm more than impressed and excited to follow along! It's great for all ages including adults!

Good Morning Wild Ones! So as I'm sure most of you know I have been taking a break from Wild Ones to be with my family and get our life in order as we just bought our first home, I'm in school, AND taking care of some darling littles. Needless to say something had to be put on hold, but I'm ready to get back into it for the upcoming spring season! For those of you who have been messaging me I'm sorry if I haven't replied or gotten back fast enough. I will need to do some fab...ric restocking soon, but in the mean time I am going to post a quick sale of the items I already have ready to go to their new homes in an attempt to clear out our inventory so I can start working on new stuff for spring! Fluffy bum friendly chants are hard to come by
